Having the Strymons too close to each other was a problem for me as well.

Nice board man. Some space left to fill though!

I sold off most of my board, by the way, but I'm still waiting for some cash to come in until I buy the Kemper. Not really having second thoughts yet, haven't missed any of the pedals I've sold so far.

I've got some pedals off it. I'm not sure what else I need... Nothing me thinks. I'm shortlisted for a King of Tone, so maybe that.

I've just sold an Alienware laptop I never use, so I'm eyeing a One Control Crocodile Tail Loop, but the money should really go straight on a credit card.

Going into the studio with my band in a couple of weeks. Some stuff will be done with the Kemper, so you'll hear it in use then.

So I spent all that money on a GT-100 but what I am actually using at gigs is this:

Well, I am in a punk band afterall.

It actually looks blacker in the flesh. The flash makes it look much, much lighter than it is. It's 3/4" pine, stained black. It's assembled using biscuit joiners. The screws on the front panel are to lock the pedals into place in their routed recesses.

Nicely done, and you have room to grow...if you need to.

Meh, if I need more than what's on there I'll just fire up the GT-100. I wanted simple. It's a punk board, the wah is actually overkill. I only really use wah when we play the Boosh's I Took A Shit On Your Mum. Really, all I need for punk is the Timmy and the tuner. And being punk, the tuner is probably optional too.

So, after a few weeks I've narrowed it down and I'm thinking about getting the Pedal Palette. It's got 4 inputs plus MIDI so I think I can link all my Strymon stuff together.

The way I understand it is; I can program each stomp to control a pedal, a combination of pedals or a combination of MIDI signals?

So so say stomp 1, I can make it turn on the distortion, reverb patch on the Big Sky and phaser on the Mobius.

Then I hit Stomp 2 and it turns on my boost, changes the reverb patch via MIDI to a spring, and turns on the Timeline.

Is this right?

^ You're in the UK, aren't you? Some crazy good deals on Fenders at the moment.

I totally didn't just buy an AVRI '72 thinline tele for £700

A lot of them have gone already, unfortunately.

http://blog.andertons.co.uk/guitars...d-line-products

Andertons still has the American Vintage '69 thinline tele for £749. EDIT: cack it's gone too.

Coda and Peach had the American Vintage 72 thinline tele for £699, but they went really quickly.

Some other shops have them at higher prices- guitar guitar etc.

Yeah I think to get these you either had to be in the right place at the right time or be willing to take a chance with an online purchase. Most of the USA ones seem to be gone (at least the ones at the best prices- the Coda and Peach ones sold out on preorders before they even had them in stock). There are still some MIMs and Squiers at pretty good prices I think.

Luckily enough (for me) someone flagged them up on the fretboard forum and I got in in time (just- I ordered on Monday night and when I checked on Tuesday Coda was sold out).

I spent too long convincing myself I needed one of those RW thinline jags and I missed them, gonna have a look around and see if anyone else is selling them off. Wanna grab one, stick some firebird pick ups in it and then just admire how beautiful it is.

You're talking about these, right?

They're gorgeous. And that bound fretboard

Yea they're pretty sweet. All Teles should have binding btw. It should be law.

I bought the Crocodile Tail Loop. I've no idea how it's going to get on my pedal board.

Seemed like there was more than enough space left on your board to me. Take in mind that you don't need to be able to touch the buttons on the pedals anymore, so you can get them as close together as possible.

ok so the hardwire tube od (mine says distortion on it, yet od on the box, wtf? ) is pretty sweet.

also got a few bass pedlulz- bass muff, harley benton bod-1 (beta aivin rebrand, which is a clone-ish of a boss odb3) and digitech bass synth wah. anyone know the current draw of the bass synth wah? i looked on stinkfoot and they only have the guitar version- they may well be the same but if they're not it's a bit close to my PSU's rating

You have a multimeter right? Just put it inline with the power supply and you can measure it.

yeah i was thinking that (i think stinkfoot tells you how) but i figured asking was easier

but yeah that's probably handier than emailing digitech only to have them say "we only recommend using our own power supply"
