Essentially, you've been ****ed over by this 'girl code' shit that immature girls like to abide by. Her friend has, in a sense, claimed you and until she no longer wants anything to do with you, the girl you like will never agree to seeing you without some major passive-aggressive backlash.

It sucks man, I've been there. When I was in middle school I was pre-rejected by some chick because her ugly friend had a crush on me. Even though she also liked me. Those were the days

Well, thanks for that. I just think it's weird because a few years back I told one of their friends I liked the girl I originally asked, and she told me the girl who wants to go with me liked me. But it didnt stop the girl I like always messaging me and texting me and being shy and stuff around me. I dont know whether she likes me but dosent think she can because of her mate and is shy because she likes me (because she is dead shy around me) or if she is just messing around. What a polava hahahah

EDIT: Who gave you the idea that people being shy around you means they like you? I'm positively insulted if my presence makes someone act all shy
