I'm interested in several of the models...which is one reason why I haven't bought any yet- I'm indecisive and/or deliberate in my decision making.

My Esquire has been my main guitar for over a year now officially. Guitars don't usually last this long for me. Have I finally found "the one?"

Only you can answer that. How are your G.A.S. pangs?

Doesn't work like that for me: My sign that my Tele was the one wasn't that I don't want more guitars, it's that I want another Telecaster

On which note, I realise I've had my Tele for a while (it received its first major ding yesterday, on the back corner by the jack I've lost maybe a square centimetre or two of finish) and haven't posted any photos, so here are a couple quick iPod snaps which are awful quality (this finish doesn't photograph that well at the best of times, but the ash underneath is very pretty in person) but bring closure on that intention.
My Baja

And for the record, my intended next guitar is still the MIJ '62 Reissue, though the difference of usually around £1-200 and the difficulty of obtaining it with my preferred finish mean that I'm probably not going to go for the Bigsby version. If I feel like it I'll stick Fender's '64 pups in it. Afterwards I'll hopefully get a Strat and maybe even an offset if I can afford AVRI by then so the reliable vintage-style Tele bridge probably makes more sense than a trem if I'm alternating it with the Baja anyway.

The GAS never goes away. Just shifts between different pickup configurations!

I tried to help.

I mean, it isn't like I have found The One, so how should I know?

I dig the cream one better, I think. That greenish blue is great, but just a tad too glossy.

I bet the cream one is just as slick but you can't tell from the photos.

I'm in this band, the other guy's playing P90's into a Rectifier. I'm playing the Esquire into an AC30, I'm getting a little washed out. I'm thinking of putting a humbucker back in the neck to help get me a bit more mid where I need it.

I've got an SD Pegasus, SD Sentient, an 80's Dimarzio Super Distortion, and an Ibanez Super 58. I'm not entirely convinced I shouldn't buy a P-rail for it. Hmmmm...

Wouldn't that defeat the raison d'être of an Esquire?

Sigh. I'm at this crossroads between my younger years of Frankenstein methodology and my current switch to more purity.

Maybe it's just an excuse to buy another pedal.

Esquire through a Bogner Ecstasy 101B (EL34s) or Diezel Einstein (EL34s or KT88s, nice AC30 in the Texas mode).

Or you could hit him in the goolies until he re-EQs so you can be heard.

How are the newer 72 telecaster thinline hollow bodies? I'm looking for a solid show/performing guitar and my friend is selling her Mexican made for 400$. Serial number shows it was made in 2006-2007. What do you think ?

Just saw a Carvin Telecone on eBay: HH semihollow + Bigsby. Nice warm finish...now you can see it too!
