Here's my contribution! It's a cover of constellations by Jack Johnson. I don't usually play acoustic so learning this song was a great experience for me.

I've got a cover or two to contribute, but no recording equipment yet. I should be getting a mic in a few weeks though. As long as this project is still going on...

^^hey listened to the soundcloud link^^ The guitar playing sounds really well done. Very easy to listen to. (I'd pay to hear you play) The voice however isnt something I'd pay to hear, sorry. I know that hurts , Im not aiming at that just honesty.

hai everybody i see this thread aint gettin too much action but ill post this anyway. i borrowed a condenser mic from my friend (shure pg81) so i could try my hand at recording acoustic. i still have a lot to learn about the whole recording process, but i think this sounds decent. any feedback is appreciated!

I shall resurrect this dead thread. We can't let this die, it'll make the A&CG look more boring than it really is.

Ok guys, who says a SM-58 can't get a good acoustic tone is a lier! It's just really really friken hard.

Try this song on for size, just recorded this today with my SM-58 and my trusty Takamine EG334SC.

I call it, Interlude 3, since it's the 3ed version of this song I have written....

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pag...songID=10788155

EDIT: ^^ I really liked that finger picking, and the electric in the background just made it click so well together.

Just using DrumTrack, the sounds came from the massive drum sound collection on Ultimate-Metal forms.

So any classical guitarists in the house? I want to get better, I learnt for 5 years (2003-2008) and recently taught myself Fugue in A Minor (fuggin' a minor lol) BWV 1000, by JS Bach.

Any moderately challenging pieces I should attempt? I lack speed so I usually suck balls at any of your garden-variety Spanish compositions, I can play Asturias at a slower tempo than the modern interpretations, and I attempted to learn 'recuerdos de la alhambra' by Tarrega, but again, the speed is what is hampering me.
