Lower the vocals in the mix a bit and lessen the reverb, it'll make it sound way better, but this is pretty sick!

cheers for the comments - I find mixing vocals tough, most of the time people say they are too low in mix! |

goddaym dude this is insane ! Loving the production and the song is kickass too. Perfect definition of epic. What're you using for the strings ? I agree that the vocals have a lil too much reverb on them. Try compressing your vocals and reducing the reverb. Add a subtle delay instead.
Overall awesome track. You sir, have my like ! Edit : Don't change the reverb on the "Siegfried" chant. In fact, up it more...it'll give it that epic battle cry effect. Last edited by the_weirdoman : 11-11-2012 at 02:21 AM. |

Hi thanks for the feedback dude! glad you liked the song, I use Garritan Personal Orchestra and Acoustica Mixcraft's Instruments for my strings. The vocals are compressed and do have delay, but perhaps that part could be increased and the reverb decreased |

Hey man,
I listened to your song and thought it was great. The production value is really excellent like everyone was saying. I personally thought the vocals sounded fine, but if you wanted to make them more three dimensional, you could run a wider stereo delay to give the vocals more presence without necessarily increasing their volume. The music you write reminds me of people like Luca Turilli or Blind Guardian, especially when it comes to the content of the lyrics. Overall an enjoyable listen. If you wouldn't mind C4C, I have a few songs in my signature. Vacuum or Maquinahombre would probably appeal to you more than the other two. |
