the schecter hellraiser solo 6, red prs paul allender se (2011, i think scarlet red) epiphone les paul custom, white i know there quite different but i would just like to know which you guys prefer. i play metal, melodic metal, rock and many other things. my favorite bands are bring me the horizon, black veil brides, cradle of filth, and children of bodom, if that helps at all. i do not have access to demo these guitars so please be as detailed as possible.thanks for any replies ![]() |

PRS is probably going to be the best quality.

I actually have little to no experience with Epiphone. I do believe that's one of the better models, though.

Get the PRS. Or try them out and choose one.
The Epiphone would be a distant 3rd for me, the Schecter 2nd and the PRS the 1st.

I have the Paul Allender, green and it is a killer guitar. I also have an Epi LP, but it will require a pickup change for your styles...more money. Schecter's are ok, but not at the level of the PRS SE.
Get the PRS it is terrific, will handle your styles stock, has a great trem, body and neck are a joy to play.

I think the PRS SE will be a better built guitar over all but playability of them is great. But thats my opinion. You gotta get a feel of it.

I have a Schecter Omen 6 Active FR that i think is on par with my prs se 24 and my prs
semi hollow dont know how it would match up to the allender model. Epiphone would also be my last choice out of those three. |

Some good suggestions here but the best guitar is the best one for you. Go to your local guitar store, play themall in the demo room through different amps. The one that plays best for you is your choice. Oh...and give Ebay a vist before you plunk down your hard earned green.
