Scale Help
I'm sure some of you here know Phil X. He plays vintage guitars which go on sale on the frettedamericana website. I usually watch their videos and was curious on a certain scale he played. Its a jazz lick that he does at 2:57. Thanks

He says in the video: "In the key of D." (That's not the scale though.
)But really, just listen to it. Find the notes on your fretboard. Try to play it by ear note by note. You can also look at Phil's fingers. OK, I'll make it easier. It's D dorian scale. But what does that help? You still need to find the notes.
