Giants win, Dodgers lose. 3.5 back in the NL West. We still got a chance to take the division. Joe Panik caps off his .400 plus hitting week by dislocating his finger. That's just like this team...

As for women in baseball, I feel like the MLB will be the first major sports organization to have professional co-ed play. Compared to the NFL, NBA, or NHL, I feel like the physical requirements for baseball will allow women to compete more easily. I mean, look at Chris Sale or Tim Lincecum. There are plenty of women more muscular than those two. Women are also more naturally flexible, which would probably be a benefit when pitching as well.

Also, apparently Mo'ne Davis throws a 70 mph fastball at 13, so there's no reason she couldn't hit high 80s low 90s by the time she's 20.

The fact that im pretty flexible is basically the only reason my arm isn't blown out. I throw like someone that has never seen a ball before

Even as a homer who said the Marlins could surprise some people this year, I'm kind of blown away by the abrupt turnaround.

Last season we finished at 62-100. This year, we're 62-62 and only a couple games out of the wild card, and that's without Jose Fernandez! Pretty remarkable.

Yeah, the Marlins will definitely be interesting to watch going forward.

Rockies scored 20 runs in their double header against the Braves today. Kind of ridiculous that they have the 2nd worst record in baseball with that kind of offense. They average 4.58 runs per game which is 4th highest in the majors and the highest in the national league. That's what bad pitching will do to you.

Holy crap the minor-league Cards in The Show 13 suck. I've been here eight games, and we've had eight blowout losses. I've been hitting around .330 and doing my job defensively, but our pitching is horrific, and we have multiple batters under the mendoza line.

This season can't end soon enough.

Giants successfully contest last nights game. Was called final after grounds crew failed to properly deploy the tarp. That would've been a hard loss

And that Garrett Richards injury is a huge bummer. Don't know exactly what happened, but I was watching the Angels/Sox game on ESPN when he went down, and it looked like he was about to come out of skin.
