Well yeah, but there are better options. The Vypyr is overkill for what you need really.

What would be the cheapest amp then I need to get this tone? Obivously the pedal... but would any head get this tone with the pedal or what?

I listed several on the last page, look at my post there. Find a Randall RH200. They can be had state side for peanuts, I'm sure they are fairly cheap there as well.

Ampeg v50, they are dirt cheap and take pedals like a god. Umfortunatly they have almost no gain on tap so youneed the pedal.
