My gear:

Electric Guitars:

1992 Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Plus with Seymour Duncan Cool Rails & Dimebucker 59 pickups.

Acoustic Guitars:

Martin D16

Amplifiers:

Marshall DSL40C 40W All-Tube 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp Black

Marshall MG10CD Series 15W

Pedals:

Boss DS-1 Distortion Pedal

My rig isn't as fancy and expensive as everybody else's. (:

Your scores are based on a biased opinion then "Your amps are too loud" "I 'm not a Gibson guy" All of those guitars are really nice and 2 of them are 1 of 400 made. How didn't he get a 8 or a 9 out of 10 for guitars I can't belive you scored those a 6.

i could care less what i am rated.and i was being brief, i have two strats. one sqier and one fender MIM. i own several more tube amps as well.

it doesn't really matter, but i kind of agree, when i go through here to rate somebody based on what they have and what they are into or do or like or how thing go together or something unique.

i don't really do these to get my gear rated i like to see others and rate others.

haters gon hate.

rate bobafettacheese NOT me i was just interjecting with a comment.

I stand by my critique of his amplifiers, I have a Marshall DSL40C 40 Watt amp and I can't push the volume past 3 otherwise I'll blow my ears out, let alone having multiple 100 watt amps like this guy. How could you ever push the volume past 2? Poor tube saturation when you have the volume so low on larger amps.

Maybe I was too critical of his guitars tho.

No offense to you at all buddy, all that matters is that you love your gear, who cares what I think.

I still don't see how one could own so many 100 Watt amplifiers, if given the chance I would trade in my 40 Watt Marshall DLC40 for a 1 watt, 1/2 a watt or 15 watt amplifier.

If you own a Stratocaster, I immediately revise my old ratings and bump your guitars up to a 8 rating. It would be a 10 if your Stratocaster had Seymour Duncan pickups in them. (:

Some of us like it LOUDER THAN HELL I never play on 2. Hey it does have an 11 button, who knew!

Someone here would probably gladly trade you for their 15 watt for your 40, watch what you wish for. hehe

Giving him those scores is an absolute joke, regardless of how meaningless this thread is in the overall scheme of things. Your last comment is even more confusing... A set of pick ups is really that important to the overall rig of a person that has a collect like he does?

Whatevs I guess

Sorry guys, I didn't realize how big of a deal this thread was.

What do I know?

All I know is that I don't like his setup.

Still don't see the need for multiple 100 watt amps when in order to get proper tube saturation you would need the sound volume to be deafening.

Also, pickups make a big difference. I hated my Strat until I upgraded the pickups, everything is important in a guitar from the string gauges used to the pickups in the guitar to the thickness of the pick you're using.

**** what I think, I'm happy with having only 2 guitars. How good is any one of your specific guitars if you felt the need to collect 30+ guitars and you still haven't found the one?

All true. The problem is you just said Seymour Duncans... They make tons of pickups. Some great, some junk, some good for a strat, some not, etc. You said you'd give an additional 2 points of 10 for a vague brand association?

It wasnt that your rating was opinionated, it's that it was entirely based on arguably fallacious opinions.

(Did I get that right? I always confuse fallacious with fellatious.)

So no rating here for me? I get that the thread got derailed due to crazy justifications. I agree with most here, Trashed's gear is quite amazing, the rating he received was arbitrary, but nonetheless extremely low, especially given the fact that his amp collection and guitar collection is awww invoking, especially from my point of view.

Anyway, just to see where I stand I will re-rate again just because I am curious as to where I am.

7/10-love the Gibson, nice pedals.

7/10-love the Gibson, nice pedals.

no one rated me either as I was the last on that page. oh well.

i'll give you an 8.5 overall. LP double cuts are very cool. not an orange fan but respect them for what they are. perhaps a better overdrive could be had but of course if that one works for you then great

only posting gear bought in the last year or so

1995 Fender Stratocaster (modded with locking tuners, lsr roller bridge and graphtech saddles)

2006 BC Rich NJ series Eagle. this is a neck through guitar not to be confused with the old nj stuff. sadly only made for that one year. ebony fretboard. geat sound very LPish.

Vintage (company name not old guitar) SG copy. 61 spec with thin neck.

Peavey Ultra 212

T-Rex Crunchy Frog (overdrive with separate clean boost)
Lovepedal Gen5 delay
Morley Power Wah
EH Small Stone Phaser
Akai DR3 Fuzz
