Eye Care W/ Vocals - Metal Song (C4C)

So about a year ago I made this song. It's pretty heavy compared to my newer music and it also features me growling like an idiot. I don't claim to be a good growler but I figured I would give it a try.

Lyrics are in the link. As you can see I started writing legitimate lyrics as shown in the first two lines. But then after that things went very wrong and I started writing really random things. My personal favorite line is the one about drinking juice boxes.

Anyways tell me what you think and I will gladly C4C. Thanks

Nice tune, guitar tone is madness, what do you use? The melodic section around 2:44 is great, the breakdown part is cool too.

One thing I'm not too sure about is when you say "I need a new pizza / This one has cheese on it". Now don't get me wrong, I am open-minded and I always try to see other people's points of view, but are you suggesting that because the pizza has cheese, it is no good and you need another one? Do you have an issue with cheese on pizzas?? I don't know how you can have a pizza without cheese, it literally glues the whole thing together. It would be like me saying your song has drums in it, I need another. Anyway, despite your anti-cheesist remarks I think the song is really good, well done!

Lmao! I used a line 6 Toneport UX1 for the guitars. As for the cheese part, I have no clue why I decided to say cheese, probably because the rest of the songs lyrics made absolutely no sense. Thanks for the listen!

What did I just listen to!?

I was just kinda listening to it, with the tab minimized, and I heard twizlers and double-mint gum.......so that made me wanna see the lyrics.

It's all pretty darn good mix and tone-wise. It's almost like two entirely different songs though, it's so weird. One is very deathcore inspired, the other was a very melodic Metalcore section. Outro was pretty cool, but my favorite part would have to be the harmonized solo.

JDawg,
As you know growling is not my favorite vocal style, but not bad for the style. Does Martha Stewart do growling very well? Guitar playing is tight, well done per usual. I like this clean guitar part to cleanse the palette. (Non-growling) "I'm losing my mind" (out of the blue) made me crack up, in a good way. Very good lead guitar. Keep on rockin'!
