how do i tell if valves need replacing?

hey guys

how would i tell if the valves need replacing on my amp?

and how would i tell if it was pre-amp or power amp that need changing?

The most reliable way is to swap them out and note the difference. After you've done this a few times with dead tubes you'll usually be able to hear them going bad without checking.
