Help writing

Any tips for writing symphony sections for rock songs? and some examples. Thanks. What insturments go in it? and how many of each?

A symphony is a form. It has a particular structure. (Three parts, I think) Do you mean that you want to add an orchestral or maybe a string part to a pop song? What exactly are you going for? What songs have you heard that make you think, "Yeah! Like that!"?
