Which Vypyr?
Hey all, I recently started practicing more away from home then at home, and it's hard to lug around an amp head and a 2x12
So I wanted to get a cheap combo amp to take around with me. My buddy has a vypyr 15w, and I love the sounds you can get from it. My question is whether it's worth spending the extra to get a vypyr tube or is the vypyr 30 just as good? I can score a vypyr 30 for about $100, while the tube is $225-$250, I'm just not sure how much better it'll actually sound. I cannot get a chance to use the vypyr tube, no store around here has used ones or stock ones. Is it worth the extra cash?
