That's not an easy thing to do.

the MK1 focus that we got here in North America was just... embarrassing. the fact that Ford would sell the most embarrassing representative of a great car they possibly could in their home market is really kind of disgusting. all the american manufacturers seem to have this phobia about building great or even GOOD small cars here, because they feel nobody wants them, but half the reason nobody wants them is because the big 3 manufactured that problem by offering nothing but crap like the first NA focus, the cobalt (the SS was a pretty good car, but the rest were garbage as far as im concerned), the aveo (not a bad car, by any means, just completely bland, boring, and uninspired. an appliance in every sense of the term)

I wonder what Canadian roads would be like if more people were driving small hatchbacks.

I feel like you can find most assholes in jacked up Dodge Rams during the fall months. not sure why, but those guys tend to be the most dickish from september-mid november.

lol shiny if you want to see a real collection of assholes just go to meadowvale town centre on any given weekday evening. it's like the terry fox plaza but worse because there's no actual nice cars, just half-heartedly cobbled together ricemobiles and a couple gems driving way-too-lifted diesel F350s who race around the parking lot like idiots

my friends and i grab coffees, park away from them and just watch how many times cops roll up on them

seen it. one of my favorite asshole nests is the tim's/esso gas station on steeles and mavis. bunch of guys in dually rams and f-350s with "Diesel Doctor" on the back, 240SXs with steel rims, and v6 mustangs pulling half assed burnouts and donuts until the police show up.

its always a good show

Anyone familiar with W123 vacuum routing? I'm driving a 1983 Mercedes 300D and the vacuum lines are a mess. I just moved back to Iowa and my Scirocco's still in Nebraska, so I'm driving this beast. Almost 400k on the clock that only works some of the time, recently fixed alternator and starter, freshly working stereo, a working window and sunroof. Harold don't give a ****. He's got a 300 mile round trip coming up and I'd really like to get all the vacuum leaks fixed so I'm not sacrificing any fuel economy, though it'd also be nice to be able to get dedicated defrost and turn the car off without popping the hood and playing with the throttle linkage. I've got a diagram, but it looks like I've got a few extra tees that I can't make sense of.
