Hey Cliff,

When some pics in my UGG randomly started going missing, I started doubting ImageShack already, but now they've started deleting some of my profile-shaping pics

So, I reuploaded all my images to TinyPic... hopefully they'll do better there. It's a lot faster already, though... but I'm posting here because the example code needs fixing now:

<style type="text/css"><!-- body {background: url(http://i42.tinypic.com/2rqhx52.jpg) no-repeat top center #000;} .bl {background: #000 url(http://i44.tinypic.com/rlyipu.jpg) bottom left no-repeat} td {height: 100%} .m {background: #000} .info {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #261c03; padding-top: 20px} .info_bl {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #261c03; padding-top: 20px;} DIV.info_ot {background:#666 url(http://i43.tinypic.com/vngi6p.jpg)} DIV.info_ot_s {background:#666 URL('http://i43.tinypic.com/vngi6p.jpg'); } .b4 {border:solid 1px #624600} DIV.avt {background: URL('http://i42.tinypic.com/x3a0bk.jpg')} .avt_t TD {border-right: solid 1px #624600;border-bottom: solid 1px #624600} TABLE.avt_t {border-top: solid 1px #624600;border-left: solid 1px #624600;} .theader DIV {color:#ffcc00;background:#000000;} DIV.info_in_s {background:#000 URL('http://i39.tinypic.com/2hi12ms.jpg');color: #BBBBBB} DIV.info_in {background:#000 URL('http://i39.tinypic.com/2hi12ms.jpg');} .contact {border:solid 1px #624600;margin:0px 0px 10px 0px;padding:5px;} .pic {background:#102839 URL('http://i42.tinypic.com/2d6miwx.jpg') no-repeat;padding:10px;margin-bottom:15px} .treb {color: #ffcc00} --></style>

It might be handy if you left every link to the image as an actual "link", so that people can click it to see the image it links to... like it is now. Just an idea.

Cheers!

Is it ok to post music videos from youtube on my profile?

If so, how do I do it?

You need this code:

Quote:
.info {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #000; padding-top: 20px} .info_bl {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #000; padding-top: 20px;}

Click the links in that code. They'll link you to an image of a striped golden background, like the one I used in my profile. You can edit that image, make it black and white stripes... and then upload it to TinyPic and replace the urls

For the black background, use this:
Quote:
body {background: url('') #000;}

So together, and with the appropriate START and STOP codes, that would be:

Quote:
<style type="text/css"><!-- body {background: url('') #000;} .info {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #000; padding-top: 20px} .info_bl {background: url(http://i40.tinypic.com/2mmx1t4.jpg) top right no-repeat #000; padding-top: 20px;} --></style>

Try that, see how it works!

If they're videos of you playing, it's allowed. Just use the "embed" HTML code that you find in every YouTube video's description section... Copy it, and paste it into your About section.

However, I don't think you can post copyrighted videos (so no official music videos, actually nothing that has official music in it).

Cheers

Did you check the Example Code on the first page? It has the code for both of those in it... just look there to see how the code works, check out the links to see the images they link to!

Cheers!

How do I change the colour of this http://i42.tinypic.com/x3a0bk.jpg?

If I have an image of something but the colour of it doesn't go with the blue burst of the normal colour (or yellow burst in your case) And the colour doesn't go with the yellow username or green gear pics, how can I change it to the colour that I want?
Which will be black, white or grey.

You're going to have to edit the image in an editor such as Photoshop (or cheaper or even free alternatives), then upload it to a file host (such as TinyPic), then use the link of the image you uploaded in the code!

Is there something wrong with it that you'd like to have fixed? Because I can't see any problems, in fact I like what you did

I was wondering, when you click "Pictures" or "All comments" it goes back to the default.
Anyway to change them too?

Nope, the About section is the only part of the profile that allows HTML... so as soon as you click away from your "main" profile page (where the About is displayed), your HTML layout will disappear (because the About disappears!)...

I didn't see this mentioned, but i found out that if you give it a blank url field {background url()} then you'll get an empty/transparent box on some parts of your profile. Works well for having one image not get skewed by being loaded twice at two different places.

Maybe I missed something, but is there anyway to edit the borders on the right and left side of your profile?

I think it's:

.b {border: solid 1px #808080; border-top:0px}

That's how it looks on default.
