Hey Cliff,

When some pics in my UGG randomly started going missing, I started doubting ImageShack already, but now they've started deleting some of my profile-shaping pics

So, I reuploaded all my images to TinyPic... hopefully they'll do better there. It's a lot faster already, though... but I'm posting here because the example code needs fixing now:

It might be handy if you left every link to the image as an actual "link", so that people can click it to see the image it links to... like it is now. Just an idea.

You need this code:


Click the links in that code. They'll link you to an image of a striped golden background, like the one I used in my profile. You can edit that image, make it black and white stripes... and then upload it to TinyPic and replace the urls

For the black background, use this:

Try that, see how it works!

If they're videos of you playing, it's allowed. Just use the "embed" HTML code that you find in every YouTube video's description section... Copy it, and paste it into your About section.

However, I don't think you can post copyrighted videos (so no official music videos, actually nothing that has official music in it).

If I have an image of something but the colour of it doesn't go with the blue burst of the normal colour (or yellow burst in your case) And the colour doesn't go with the yellow username or green gear pics, how can I change it to the colour that I want?
Which will be black, white or grey.

You're going to have to edit the image in an editor such as Photoshop (or cheaper or even free alternatives), then upload it to a file host (such as TinyPic), then use the link of the image you uploaded in the code!

Nope, the About section is the only part of the profile that allows HTML... so as soon as you click away from your "main" profile page (where the About is displayed), your HTML layout will disappear (because the About disappears!)...

I didn't see this mentioned, but i found out that if you give it a blank url field {background url()} then you'll get an empty/transparent box on some parts of your profile. Works well for having one image not get skewed by being loaded twice at two different places.
