i say you should stain the front panel with a dark stain like walnut then polyurathn it then totex the rest

I've decided im going to stain it with a dark stain, and use black hardware.

gtr - I have another vote.

Put a cut-thru 'see thru' diamond plate mesa/xxx style on front and then run tube lighting or whatever it's called behind it.

I acctually was going to do this, but i cant find any clear ones, and i have no idea how to wire up the light.

That looks pretty cool, man... it's given me an idea so my VK will be useful when I eventually do upgrade.

I bet it feels pretty cool to say you have a 5/8 stack, too.

So you're just gonna stain the head, right?

I remember someone that gutted a V-18 and stained/lighted the head. There wasn't a front grill, and it looked awesome.

I'm sure you could find someone who can help you with the wiring for LED's in the head.
