Might seem a bit of an out of the blue comment, but Ceremony's self titled album or EP (never sure which it actually is) has been really doing it for me lately. I think I might actually be challenging Rocket Fire for my favourite. Clouds and Old in particular are fantastic.
However, does anyone really like Disappear? Other than a couple of tracks it just doesn't grab me the way the rest of their discography has.

Also in a sort of related topic to what was previously discussed, I got Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, and good god it's good. I've listened to very little else these last two weeks.

No objections here. One of my favourite albums ever, no hyperbole intended.
Stars Fall is as good as it gets I feel.

Looks like there's a new comp album coming out soon from them, called Safranin Sounds, Looks like the self titled plus Disappear plus a few bonus tracks. I might have to get it so I have a legit copy of the self titled, though a CD-R from the band themselves is pretty legit I guess

They did say they'd have a new EP out around the time of their european tour, but I'm pretty sure that's been and gone.

/mu/ has been compiling a mediafire folder full of shoegaze albums (all 320 or v0). Best get onto it before they cramp on our freedoms.

Nice one.
I already had a fair few, but also felt I had more that I could add myself from the likes of Soundpool, Stella Luna, Highspire etc all in 320kbps, but it's not something I think I'll get involved with.

Does anyone have a good torrent for Ringo Deathstarr's Colour Trip? I am struggling to find an mp3 version.

I finally got round to listening to Slowdives Just For A Day. I'm puzzled now as to why Souvlaki is considered their best album. Whilst I think When The Sun Hit's is the best thing I've heard by them, I feel the début is a better album on the whole, It just feels more coherent, has more of an atmosphere and just feels generally better.

'Tis one of my all-time favourite records. That and Galaxie 500's second album. Fond memories...

I've got Highspire's Aquatic on at the moment, and I'm really growing to love this record. However, I was wondering if Your Everything was worth hearing?

I've had it pre ordered for a while now, so I think I'll just wait for it.

However I found Exploding Head to be a little bit forgettable, it's good when your in the mood for it, but I can't bring to mind a single track that stands out from it.

And the recent 7" with Ceremony, the track on that was good, but felt a bit like filler really. Nice enough, but nothing that felt like it needed to be heard.

New APTBS arrived today, I'm yet to hear it, but will give my opinions when I do.

Anyone else looking forwards to the upcoming Stargazer Lillies album?

I'm on my second listen of the new APTBS.
As with Exploding Head, I feel they know how to establish a sound, but just don't quite have the songs to go with the sounds.
I quite like the self titled as it has the sound, and for the most part great tracks, my personal favourite being the Falling Sun. But since then it's like the song's haven't quite been up to the standard.
Worship is less about blowing your head of with noise, and more refined and it certainly has an identity of it's own. But as I say, it lacks anything really memorable so far.
