Jason Becker .....(Virtuoso Guitarist of his time)

Guys everyone Knows this guy... neo-classical metal guitarist and composer. At the age of 16, he became part of the Mike Varney-produced duo Cacophony with his friend Marty Friedman. Becker's success was hampered by his then-diagnosed amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) which paralysed him...

What you think of this legendary guitarist>>>>>>>

Jason Becker's music and story are an important inspiration for my musical progress. The 'Not Dead Yet' movie is a must see for all aspiring musicians.

One of the best----his awesome technique and Friedman's beautiful bending style made the 2 Cacophony albums essential listening (even with the terrible vocals) and the scope and range of some of his solo work is staggering. Great Vai-style 'humour' in some of his stuff too.

Truly inspirational human being too.

Him and Paul Gilbert have to be the coolest teenagers in the 80s as far as I'm concerned haha.
Thank God im an atheist
