Avenged Sevenfold Sound

Does anyone know how to get Synyster/Zacky's tone using a Peavey Vypyr 15 and a line 6 floor pod plus?

Here's my settings. I play mostly A7X so the sound is close.

Drive: 6.
Bass: 3.
Mid: 3.
Treble: 9.

Get an Invader pup and w/e amps they use.

And just so you know GatesIsGod the quote from your sig is from Dr. Samuel Johnson originally. Shadows was quoting him.

That doesn't show his amps I think him and zacky use the same ones though

Samuel Johnson was an 18th century writer, not someone from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Well, they use Bogner Uberschall's, and custom Schecters; Brian uses Invaders, Zack uses the Jb. I'm not sure about their settings though. Just tweak any high gain tube amp, and it should get you CLOSE. Also, throw on the treble for lead tones

Steps to achieving AX7 tone

1. Put on lame overdone makeup.
2. Take a big steamy dump.
3. Plug Guitar into steamy dump.
4. ????????
5. Profit
6. Continue being a loser.

If you're gonna bash something, at least spell it right?

Anyways, try these:

Gain 1- 2 o'clock
Bass 1 - 2 o'clock
Mids at your preference
Treble near max

Also very important you get a right handed guitarist on stage left, and a left handed guitarist stage right, headbanging in rhythm...
