I don't care if you post them or not, I merely explained my motives and reasoning for not doing so myself. I admit that I have shared them with certain individuals that I've wanted to share them with, I just haven't posted them on the internet for everyone to see........

Then do 1-2-3-5 For stretching pinky, and do it 2x times faster Or just pick a hard solo you like and learn it... |

Awesome thread, but I think it could also use a "songs to learn how to Stretch" section; Cowboys from Hell for example. At first I had to tap that really big stretch part (12th fret to 19th fret with a slide to 20th fret) - been practicing it for a while and now I can do it.

The domination solo from the same album is a real pain too, especially since it is a legato sequence with strech. |

If you take CFH a section at a time and play each section until it's absolutely comfortable it's actually a pretty good set of exercises in itself, the first fast lick (11-12-15 repeated) is good then leads in to the next section (12-14-17) and then the big Em arpeggio (12-15-19). If all else fails just take the same kind of shape, same stretches and move it up the neck until you can do it, stay there until it's comfortable and move it down a fret at a time and make sure it's comfortable at every step of the way. Really it's more about how you practice than what you practice when it comes to stretching, it's not something you can just jump into and speed it up gradually like you can with economy picking or anything like that.
