Anyone want to analyze my technique?
I made a new cover video, and would like to show it to you guys so you can analyze it and tell me how to improve my accuracy and tone. I'm still fairly sloppy and want it to sound accurate and clean.

You might do better posting this in the techniques analysis thread - its stickied http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1039223
![]() Edit: Easy solos? ACDC - Shook Me All Night, or Metallica - Nothing Else Matters. Both pretty simple minor pent solos ![]() Last edited by zhilla : 02-02-2010 at 03:48 AM. |

Thanks . Last time I checked, though, the thread was kind of inactive -- i thought Freepower analyzed all the video's. But I'll post it in that thread too, then.Do you have any other song-with-easy-solos recommendations? The ones you recommended don't appeal to me that much. I dislike using minor pentatonic as a main line, i'd rather play natural minor or harmonic minor solo's. |

I think Freep just had computer issues for a while.
I'll have a think on other solos - I'll dig through my notes when I get home tonight - and send you a pm Don't rule out your pentatonics though - at the end of the day they are only diatonic scales with a couple of notes missing, and even if you normally go diatonic its sometimes nice to break into pentatonics or arpeggios for a bit for a change of feel ![]() |
