Question Replacement Jackson Rhodes V body???

Good evening, last year I picked up a Jackson Randy Rhodes V from a Craigslist ad for a decent price. Problem is this body had a couple of major chips in the top fin.

Does anyone know if a replacement body can be purchased through Jackson....OR perhaps another company?

I've got the guitar totally disassembled and have been getting back in the mood of working with my guitars again...so I want to finnish this project up.

I'd appreciate any and all help with info.

THANKS!

Brian

Why not just fill the chips and spot-finish them?

Jackson prolly isn't gonna sell replacement bodise and such, otherwise anyone could put together a Jackson partscaster and sell it off.

warmoth sells RR bodies...

edit: Why did you post your email? That may be a bad idea...

To be completely honest....yeah I could take a stab at a "patch, fill, sand and paint" job....BUT these chips are MAJOR.....and I don't have all of the pieces.

I'd rather get a new body and either paint it myself....or have a local shop do some airbrush work perhaps.

Then warmoth is the way to go. They'll make a body however you want it.

check your local Kijiji and eBay, you can usually find something there. I see alot of Rhodes bodies on eBay that are made by a company whos name I dont know but they make just about every pointy-shaped body that might come to mind

I'm not familiar at all with "Kijiji".....could you please explain further?

I did do a search on Ebay....but I didn't find any sellers offering this style of body......by some chance do you have a link....or does someone else know?

Ok, did a search and found out what "Kijiji" is... I still like Craigslist better...but oh well.

As promised, here's a couple pics of the large fin chip. As you can see, it's not going to be an easy fix as most would assume...... believe me, if it was on the face or back I wouldn't sweat the issue, and the guitar would have been repaired looong ago.

If by chance anyone stumbles onto those Ebay sellers who sell these types of V bodies I'd GREATLY appreciate a "heads up"

Still lookin' for some help here fellas

Honestly, that'd change the shape completely...which is why I went for a RR....instead of a King V or etc.

Get a chunk of wood, clamp and glue. Fix The fin from there.

Honestly, It'd be so much easier and less expensive.
