Okay, now i don't know whether there is an actual dedicated Motorcycle thread.

I know there is one for bikes, but not one just for Motorcycles.

I searched and found nothing, so if it's already done this will just get closed so no big deal.

Anyway, If this does stay open it will be a place to talk about motorcycles and everything related!

Taking a CBT in the next month or two-whenever I can afford a 125 CC scooter or bike of some description. When I join the navy, I'll take a full licence and get me a Ninja. Love thos bikes, my dad's had a few over the years.

Well i felt slightly stupid. I'm 22, and passed my driving test at 17.

I've always been a member of the 'bikers drive like morons' club.

Then i met my current girlfriend on the 24th of this month last year. I remained in my mindset, until she surprisingly booked me on a CBT. (Now, she's been riding since big enough to hold a bike up, her mum and step dad are instructors, as is her dad)

So i went on it and from the second we got the bikes going i absolutely loved it.
You really do see the disrespect from car drivers towards riders.
For instance, the day after i passed my test, we went for a ride to her uni....me, her, mum and stepdad. We all had hi-vis on, me and her L plated up, with her mum and step dad riding in front and behind us.

At some lights a car decided to cut in front of me, knowing he wouldn't get in front of my girlfriend and her stepdad. So we now had them two, a nissan micra, and then me and her mum. Ridiculous.

Nothing can stop me now though and i'm about to get a 125 to get some experience before i do my big test on a Ninja 500

I love the effort you took. Well done. There's probably not many bikers on here, so i'm not expecting it to be flooded, and it's not 'my post' it's just a place where someone can talk about real bikes if they wish.

I've never, ever been in that club. I've been riding pillion on my dad's bikes since the ageof 5 or 6. Then when my dad nearly died after getting hit by a drunk driver on his way home from work, it just created the mindset "car drivers just don't care about bikers".
