Good EQ settings for a crate?
I have a crate gt212 120 watt amp, it's pretty bass and treble heavy, can't quite find a good balance. What should I set my treble, mids, bass, gain and shape too? I play metalcore and thrash. For clean, I'm looking for something very warm and good for chords and finger picked style, as I stated, it's either too bassy or too trebly.

put everything at middle position, then start turning the knobs both ways and experiment.
