Its a start
This is for another thread, but I thought it might be a good idea to have a diagram set out for other users to use as a reference.
By no means is this finished. Its just a rough start. If anyone else wants to finish this while I'm working today, go ahead and post the pic here. I'll split the thread and make sure you get the credit for your work. BTW... I would think something like this should be stickied, but we're starting to smother ourselves with stickied threads. Should this be added to another sticky (which one? it doesn't seem to fit anything else) or should I remove a sticky from one of the less promising threads? Let me know what you think! |

a suggestion.
maybe give a list of all the common terms for each part, for example, for the tuners, theres machine heads, tuning keys etc. if noobs only know one term, and someones talking about the same part but using a different term, they wont know what there talking about. just a suggestion.

This may also some how be incorporated into "tools & gizmo's)
As we were talking about before. Such as that brass fret pusher thing-a-ga-gig. (for poping a fret back into its groove)  Bill, contrary to popular belief, I'm busy too ya know,lol,,lol,,lol,,

why don't we just make a "glossary of terms" thread, and that we\ay we can include everything, including stuff like capos and tunign devices, and we can put at the top of the page "Hit Ctrl+F and then search for the term on this page"
maybe the thread will be too big? or get too general? i dunno, it was just an idea
