i suggest adding vader to the list of cabs. and mentioning the speakers used in metal might be nice. aka v30s gk100 eminence manowar etc etc

celestion.com
as far as i have experienced, the v30s are great for metal. these paired with g12 k100s make a nice cab. g12t 75 is often used as well, but does not produce as clean of a bottom end eminence.com a large number of these speakers are suited to metal, including the texas heat, the governor, the swamp thang, the manowar, the black powder, and the high wattage legend. warehousespeakers.com basically equals to the celestions but at a cheaper price. i have found these to be better sounding in personal opinion

Yeah its mainly because of Chuck that i went looking for it. From what I've gathered, the 8080 is pretty much the combo version of the 8100, is that true? (I would get a vetta, but then again, nothing around here )

So nothing to do with quality? odd considering the TS808 is $100 more expensive than the TS9. Just gain, parts, and knobs?

so you cant get Maiden on a B-52 ?? when you get it, EQ it a bit and try it out, then if you cant get your tone then get the 808. but the B-52 can get those bands alone. you just have to EQ it right

Id go with the greenbacks. The legends do not have a very pronounced mid to high range. If you paired them with your 5150 it would sound muddy IMO.
