I'll write one about that.

Back on the topic of hardcore, anyone ever heard of Growing Rats? I may have already mentioned them. They're Slovenian, and I can't understand what they're saying most of the time. But they're fan-f**king-tastic. www.myspace.com/growingrats

..and right now the front page of the punk and ska forum has 4 NOFX threads and 3 threads all about bands with Stza in them. Whats your point?

Like any forum, there are a bunch of clueless morons (e.g. you), and then there are regulars who know what they're talking about. Same goes for the hardcore forum.

I shouldn't even take the time to acknowledge you, but I'll elaborate anyway.

You think modern hardcore bands aren't "real hardcore" because they don't sound like '80s hardcore bands. Using this logic, The hardcore punk bands you like wouldn't be considered punk because they don't sound like '77 bands.

they're modern hardcore bands that have the old school hardcore edge to it. i'm saying that what most of the people nowadays consider hardcore has the "heavy" edge. two different sounds, and sure as hell two different styles. what has mutated into "hardcore" to me is metalcore.
