Great guide, but I can't see the diagrams for British, American and German amp voicing, not a big issue.

After I take a shower, I will head into my dungeon and record those warm, bright, thin and fat soudning clips. (Was that the 4 categories? I forgot
)Also, they're gonna have to be high-gain clips, as I dont know much outside of that :/

Yup, thanks ![]() EDIT: How the hell do you use VSTi drums? Anyone got any good sounding and EASY TO USE ones that are agressive enough for thrash? Or just good sounding ones with instructions on how to use them. I'm using reaper.

To be honest Mark, I didn't even see the part about post production effects....I read the first bit more or less and skimmed the rest.
Anyway, here are some tips, I don't know how useful they will be. http://acapella.harmony-central.com...132&postcount=3 Second half of that post. On mic choice http://acapella.harmony-central.com...895&postcount=4 and http://acapella.harmony-central.com...599&postcount=8 about micing on and off axis. Didn't read too much, but I will let you pick and choose what is useful. I don't blame you for not wanting to read, that is a long ass thread ![]()

^Nice! Sounds pretty good.

Is it that confusing? ![]() One of the regulars in this thread needs to add a VSTi drums thing... even though they have something like that in R&R, it's still confusing as hell. (I tried it, but didn't get past the download) They sounded good to begin with.. ![]() Post in here, when you upload them, though! You don't suck. You are quite good, actually. ![]()

You use them like any other plugin, put the .dll in the plugins folder and load it into your DAW. Easiest I know is EZ drummer, but its not the best sounding. Doable, not best. Quote:
For shame! You should read the guides, it might take a bit but its a good read. Might have helped with your original question. I'll give those links you posted a read later, thanks for the suggestions. Quote:
I don't know enough about VSTi drums to write a guide on it...maybe one of the others can do that.

Commented on them! Scream Aim Fire tone is by far the best, but its too loud and harsh. Experiment a bit with some selective cuts in the 3k-12k region Quote:
