 Anyways, I edited my Scream Aim Fire tone. I lowered the presence, did some EQ changes and lowered the gain and voila. It is This Is Absolution btw. Im picking up a drum program tomorrow!! (Steven Slate) and am going downstairs to record those clips I promised as we speak

mogar: From what I can tell, the Guitars sounded pretty good, but were much too quiet. They could use a bit more mids and presence too IMO

That new clip EQing rocks, very very nice! Steven slate is good, head a lot of good thigns about that I saw the clips and they're cool! I'm going to give it a shot myself and see what I come up with. As for the EQing I was impressed with the Bright clip...but even more so with that new absolution clip. I also sent you some of my CurveEQ files to **** around with, see if you can use them/improve them. If you do improve them be sure to send me  Quote:

I didn't expect for "bright" to turn out good. All I did was take a Soldano X88 and put everything on 10 except for gain and bass which were at noon. Then I just added some some more treble with the built in EQ Also, sense you wanted the Absolution CurveEQ file, why can't you just analyze it? theres no drums or bass in my clip at all. Just guitars. I would analyze it, but the computer Im using won't let me open Reaper. It keeps shutting Reaper down after 5 minutes of it trying to open :/

I recorded it with the mic halfway from the cone and the edge of the speaker.
I have no proper stand so it kinda just hung from the top of my amp head. I used a bit of reverb from my holy grail to fill it up a bit. The leads were a bit turned up too. I might invest in a delay to make it sound just a little bit fuller. More presence will be added to my next recording. But only a tad

I'm sorry I can't post a clip, but I have no mics. Anyone who has a vox AD~VT try putting on this setting
Tweed 4x10 Gain - 3 o'clock Volume - 2 o'clock Treble - 1 o'clock Mids - a tiny bit past 12 o'clock Bass - 12 o'clock Reverb Edit 1 - 12 o'clock Edit 2 - 11 o'clock Edit 3 - I'm not entirely sure what this does so you decide I'm trying to get 2 different tones and this is close for both but I want to refine it, but as much of a tone purist that I am, I have no idea what to do. The tones I want are these I know I won't get it quite right because as indicated by my avatar my guitar has single coils and those that I'm trying to imitate used humbuckers, but I just want to get close.

I gots teh Stricken up (AGAIN!?!?!?!?!?!)
 EDIT: okay guys, just listened to my song on really good speakers. This song turned out WAAAYYY better than expected. Anyone who is willing, please comment on it. Keep in mind, it is JUST my guitars, but it is the real bass drums and vocals from the real song. I found the master track on you tube with guitars removed. I double tracked everything including the solo.
