I don't know why everyone is saying the production is so bad. I think it's pretty good for a band as obscure as Timeghoul, but hey that's just me. :P Production never really bothered me much.

Anyway, I love Timeghoul. Easily in my top 5 DM bands.

Yeah the production is fine, and in my opinion compliments the music. But seriously DLP

The Death Metal parts are so brutal for osdm, i love it. I also noticed today that the solos are incredible. They had such a great lead guitarist.I think they should reform and play at Maryland Death Fest this year!!

^ We don't, huh?

Nah, but Timeghoul is fantastic. It's destroying me aurally right now.

If you like Timeghoul so much, it's essential that you check out The Gloomy Reflections... by Cenotaph (Mex).

BUMP!

I only just noticed these ( http://www.last.fm/music/Timeghoul/+tracks )3 tracks called PROJECT-1,2 and 3. Awesome unreleased material. The first one's an early version of Occurence on Mimas and the third also contains bits from it. The second track's something that appears to be completely unreleased material. Also, there's another unreleased tune which is a live track entitled The Digger, which I know I've seen on Youtube before. Good stuff, seek it out.

Incase you've all checked 'em out, my apologies. If not, I recommend you do something about it.

F*** it, here:

The Digger
Joust Of The Souls (Can't believe I forgot about this one, it slays!)

Indeed. I just can't believe they only released 2 demos.

I'm just certain that had they recorded an album back in the day, it'd be one of the best things in existence.

If they'd actually reform, I think this band would actually have potential to still make a great album. Then again, I kind of thought that about Atheist for some reason as well. So maybe it's better that they leave it be.

EDIT: But what about the alleged reissues, any news?

Yeah i put theese guys in the same boat as Order From Chaos, don't mess with a good thing, chances are it can't be done again. It's a time/place sort of thing. And i'm not sure, would love to see the two demos put on lp with a poster and patch haha.

Sweet Jaysus, sorry for bumping again, but I was just reading the lyrics to their first demo, Rainwound especially. It's like a great short story which is also a metaphor to what religion has been to the seekers of truth through ages. Infinity Coda also has a similar theme to it. Jeff Hayden was one of the most epic lyricists for sure. The man can really paint a picture with both his lyrics and vocals. The most atmospheric band I know, for sure. The grimkvlt production really helps though. And the fact that he managed to step up a notch as a writer on their second demo tells something as well.

+666

No remaster necessary. But some reprints would be stellar.

PL isnt doing the reissues anymore. Looks like Dark Descent or Pathos Productions will pick it up.

Aye, they shouldn't touch the production. But I would really love a reissue, so hopefully it'll happen soon.
