and dont call me a pussy, or dont tell me im not brutal enough, because i listen to heavy music too. but i just think norma jean sucks terribly, i havent given their new album a listen though, but its supposedly not better then their other ones so im not even going to bother.

I think it is better than O' God The Aftermath myself

They are sweet, and different than alot of bands out there today. Plus i like them because they were the first hardcore band i got into

Not trying to be a dick but you've already started like 3 Norma Jean threads and there's already a bunch out there. Just use one of those.

Norma Jean is for scenesters that do nothing but two-step and run when a breakdown comes along because they dont want to take it like a man when they get hit

I stopped respecting them after Scogin left.

Their newest Cd is okay and an improvement over o god, but they'll never be as good again as they were on bless the martyr.

Yes well Redeemer is like a bunch of random crap and noise. I have some Bless the Martyr songs and I think that is the best one. O'God is great. They may play noise, but it's not all noise until Redeemer came out. I know I have posted like 3 Norma Jean threads or something but they all have been closed I guess. We'll just use this.

Bless the Martyr Kiss the Child was listenable, and the new album is definitely an improvement from O'God but they're generally too generic for my taste. It makes sense for the scenesters to like them and the kids who are still listening to BMFV and AILD religiously.

I'm a fan. Not a huge fan, but a fan. Their new singer is absolutely horrible live. Redeemer is a great album, IMO. Its a huge transformation from their old sound, but I really like it. An element of it is more spazz, but it also incorporates mainstream elements, but not to the point of selling out. I enjoy it. *shrug*
