Just GEAR.

You buy an explorer even though you own 3, and more guitars than you know what to do with, just because it was a good deal.
Not because no one else owns one like it.

x2

Having two or more of the same thing just because of the "deal" you get on it counts in my book.

Also when you have half the amount of pedals mmolteratx has.

I'll give you a better 1. You buy a new guitar beacuse it's the 5 year anniversary of buying a certain other guitar. Even though its sitting next to 4 others that are new

When you have to have one of every effect there is, simply because it is there. Regardless of the fact that you only use 1 or 2 kinds of effects.

"Ooooh, that's a tremolo AND a delay in one! I have a tremolo pedal and a delay pedal, but not a tremolo and delay in one. Better get it!"

The phrase "She snapped her G-string" does not intrigue you, but rather brings up memories of annoyance.

You know you're addicted to Gear when...

- You deny your Girlfriend's idea of moving to Australia because their selection and prices suck.
- You tell your mom that if she buys that new cab you want for Christmas, you'll pay whatever she can't afford towards it
- All of your friends come to you for any Gear advice they might need and (like already stated) they require your "Seal of Approval" for any purchases.
- You buy your girlfriend Gear as "random presents" just so you can use them and she can't be mad that you bought them (terrible, I know )
- You can't afford your rent, but can still justify buying those new speakers.
- Your list of gear you want to buy is longer than your list of friends
- You know what gear all of the bands you listen to use, down to their speakers, pickups, strings, and picks.
- You order twice the number of tubes you need becase "you can never have enough backups and why pay for shipping twice?"

Finally, my personal favorite of mine:

- You send your Girlfriend a link to this thread and tell her "this is what you have to look forward to"

Great thread, guys
