Since I've had it for pc though I honestly can't go back to console Oblivion, I just have way to many mods now.

I personally think the combat system for Oblivion was the best so far. It kept the whole mathematical elements of combat and made using a weapon and magic together so much easier. I just miss the amount of features from Morrowind and types of weapons and armour.

The easter eggs in Oblivion are better than in Morrowind though!

Didn't really like Oblivion as much as Morrowind or Fallout. It lacked variety, even more so than Fallout.

thats my issue with the game. i only beat the main story once, but i have like 40 saves (1 per character) cause i cant decide what to play as! its kind of annoying that i cant beat the game cause when i start i wana change to something else, but its nice to have that much customizations and "classes".

I lost all my TES-IV saves when my old comp broke.
I might re-install it.

You guys seem to realy love III, didn't the animation bug the hell out of you?
I can genuinely say i enjoyed IV more.

Also, a TES MMO would be awful, much like any other.
For one reason!
It would be populated by characters with screen-names, eg: xXxrandomword&numberxXx
I hate seeing beautiful online fantasy worlds destroyed by the babbling idiots within.

EDIT: Fallout 3 is a good game, but it's not TES is it.

If it came down to deciding which out of III and IV was better I'd be stuck to be honest.

As for the animation, yes. Yes it is very odd at times, but it is an older game now so I let that one off. The thing is with Oblivion that I could never figure out is why every character I've made walks in such a camp way. Then there's the whole jumping thing! But at the end of the day, these things don't make the game.

Agility

Major Skills:

Security
Sneak
Short Blade
Light Armour
Alchemy

Minor Skills:

Speechcraft
Acrobatics
Conjuration
Block
Athletics

What you guys think?

If they would come up with a MMO with Oblivion combat I'd be happy to destroy you all! for the rest of my natural existence. I'd have to cut a hole in my chair so I could **** in place.

I have over 1400. And I play on a console.

Damn. That was a wasted summer.

I'm not up to date with the mods nowadays. What are some essential mods other than QTP 3 and Midas spells? For Oblivion.

I don't know. Khajiit and argonian tend to be the less strong races. I mean usually a would elf is a better rogue character.

Dark Elf > Wood Elf.

The Dunmer are just so balanced. You can end up doing almost anything you want, except perhaps some spells that take a jizzload of magicka.

Besides, the Wood Elves are tiny.

Yeah but I find Marksman not a very good skill. I mean, if you want to use if effectively, you have to run and shoot, which takes up fatique, which will make you miss more often.

Who wants balance?

I'd rather have a character that is great in one of the major skills (combat, magic, theiving) than someone who is a Jack of all Trades.

That being said, my theif does have some magic stuff, but it all goes with his Intelligence.

Alchemy and Conjuration = Intelligence. Why not eh?

You wouldn't rather be great in all of the skills? There's not a thing my Dark Elf can't do. Except, perhaps, Alchemy and Restoration. But that's because I just upped my endurance enough so that it's impossible for me to die unless I stand still for a few minutes while being attacked. It's wonderful.

Well the dark elves are the best like characters if you don't want to specialize. If you want magic you go with High elf. If you want strength you go with orc. If you want a rogue you go with wood elf. Now there can be arguments made for a nord as melee and a Breten for magic, but the Dark Elf can be a weaker of any of these. They're the best battle mages by far.
