oh em gee.

i'm really glad i carried on watching it. at first, i wasn't really following shit and the show was kinda annoying me with the terrorism stuff, but then i watched episode 5 or 6 and realized the show's paced real slow-like.

Claire Danes' facial expressions make me uncomfortable sometimes though.

yeah, started last sunday along with the lame premiere of Dexter.

there's a few websites you could stream it on if you don't want to download it. i've been using one to watch Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire for a while now.

I'm looking forward to this, and have been for the last 6 years.

I'm ignoring the fact that it's in 3D and that the trailer was shit.

Hopefully the trailer was simply to attract the unwashed masses of cheap Hollywood horror fans, and the actual film will be more like the first one.

I watched the first half of Alien (I fell asleep, I'm old now, it happens) last night. It was the first time in forever that I watched it. I forgot how good it is at sucking you in.

I watched The FP last night, which is that film about dance dance revolution in a post apocalyptic world thing.

It's pretty much the greatest film ever made.

Saw The Master and Looper yesterday and today. I loved both of them. Terrific.

I can see why people wouldn't be too sucked into The Master. It really doesn't say much about what is going on. You see him out of the war and right away, boom, he's a photographer. They don't show the process in between but you can guess he had benefits since he was in the war. A lot of the movie is like this, where you have to think for yourself for a lot of it. I was captivated the entire time, personally. Wasn't too slow for me, and it had a lot to say. Both Phoenix and Hoffman were phenomenal, and so far Phoenix's performance is the best of the year for me. Well worth the wait!

Looper was exciting as well. I liked how gritty the editing was at times, and how the future looked so run down yet so advanced (the few rich live in such luxury and the vast majority of the world live in shit), and it almost had a western kind of feel to it (I don't mean the southern accents). I love how they had all of the time travel babble at the beginning and they just let the story play out without explaining so much about the future after. They got it all out of the way. Gordon-Levitt, being able to mimic Willis's mannerisms to the last detail, was great. I found Looper just so very entertaining. About the whole innovation thing, I found that yeah some parts seemed fresh and while some seemed like the usual sci fi, in the end I only care about if I like a film. Innovation will show its importance years down the line, and then I will decide. For now I just care if I liked the movie, and I really did. I was pulled in from the first thirty seconds, and that's always a good sign.

So here's how I rank Tarantino's movies (at least, the one's I've seen).

1. Reservoir Dogs
2. Kill Bill
3. Pulp Fiction and Inglourious Basterds

Jackie Brown's the only Tarantino film I haven't seen yet, at least, if there aren't any I,ve missed or something.
