Anyone seen I'm Not There, the Bob Dylan film? The plot was way too complex for me at the time of watching, I wasn't in the zone, but there were some great covers of his songs. Stephen Malkmus did Ballad of a Thin Man, fantastic.

Just curious.

I'm not even sure, it just didn't appeal to me for some reason. Maybe I'll watch it again at some point and see what I think.

What? The ending was great! Perfect ending, the lines morgan freeman ended with was just perfect. That's like saying you don't like the ending of fight club.

That's pretty cool, I'm writing one about cats.

I don't think "Only Movie Threads" really work. That's like if they took the subforums out of Bands and Artists.

I watched the sequel to Hooligans, or Green Street Elite (depending on where you're from), last night. It wasn't as bad as everyone claims.

Yep. It's awesome.

And, btw, I'm pretty sure there was an ONLY movie thread around not so long ago.

Eraserhead is mindblowing. It's unbelievably creepy, and full of surreal imagery and dream logic. Plus, the cinematography is brilliant. You must see it now.

Well, that thread continuously dies whenever someone bumps it. I just don't think The Pit has enough movie fans for it to keep going.

I wasn't having a go at you, btw.

And why is it completely different?

Mainly because in that thread, we just talked about our favorite films and recommended them to people. I'm hoping this thread at least attempts intelligent discussions about film.

I know you weren't having a go, its just the general consensus in that thread is "state a movie that you have liked".

This is about movies in general. good/bad/gossip/directors/soundtracks.
