Procession

Heavy-as-**** doom metal from Chile.

http://www.myspace.com/processionburn

Crushing yet flowing guitarwork and soaring vocals, and a pounding rhythym section.

Procession just ruuuule. Seriously one of the best new doom metal bands.

Plus I get a mention in the thanks list of The Cult of Disease

GREAT doom! I've had the EP for a few months now and it completely destroys. Down the River of Corpses is such a delectable tune. Can't wait for that full length.

Had a great sing-song session of Raven of Disease to myself on the bus home yesterday. Job.

Irish date announced, yusss! Get up ya hoor ya. Triple post yes, but the amount of heads on here who will enjoy this band more than makes up for it.

One of the best doom bands to come around recently imho. The Cult of Disease was soooo good. Metal Archives has the album art/tracklisting up and release says November so it should be out any day now.. Cool cover art and I like how the 2 songs that have their time listed are both around the 10 minute mark.

I'm very, very fond of Chants Of The Nameless

Like, I think, I already expressed it in the Only Doom Metal thread — It's incredible how much power a song can hold. I get all emotional listening to those vocals, and when accompanied with the crushing riffs... Absolute top class metal.

Tour dates confirmed:

Wed. 19/1 Tampere, Jack The Rooster - Finland
Thu. 20/1 Helsinki, Lepakkomies - Finland
Fri. 21/1 Turku, Klubi - Finland
Sat. 22/1 Jyväskylä, Lutakko – Finland

Thu. 3/2 Cork, An Cruiscin Lan - Ireland
Fri. 4/2 Dublin,The Pint/Eden Quay - Ireland

Hahha yeah, only Finland and Ireland so far. I will definitely be attending the one in Helsinki if the venue doesn't have an age limit of over 18, then I'll have to travel to Turku.

You guys in Ireland seem to get some damn good shows for being on such a tiny little island. Mind you could just be cause i'm in Canada and we have a huge land mass with few people that we get passed over allot.
