If Ireland have everything in place at the right time they'll be bloody difficult to beat: Tommy Bowe, Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and Rob Kearny at the back? That's one of the best back lines in the world let alone the 6 nations.

France have a decent shout if Ireland don't have things rolling their way; the problem with France is they don't have many TRULY world class players, many good players but at the moment I think they're lacking 1 true superstar to pull the whole team together (although it's a pretty good platform for somebody to take that mantle.)

With Johnson in charge England don't have a hope in hell; Borthwick shouldn't even be on the bench for a start, if Simon Shaw doesn't start I will have serious words with Johnson... Banahan is a good player for Bath because he has the necessary support from the centres, Johnson seems to think he's an olympic sprinter when he clearly isn't. I think the Saxons team would have a good chance of beating our 6-nations team, Johnson needs to give a few youngsters (with good premiership records) a shout otherwise we'll lose with our 1d game now and lose later when we have a team of players inexperienced in international games. (*cough* WALDOUCK... I think Johnson is a bit anti-wasps, Tim Payne fits his "lumpy slow brawler" mentality but ignores our best players! Tim Payne shouldn't even start as far as I'm concerned)

Onto Wales; I don't think they have a massive shout this year tbh, I don't see them scoring enough to win. I hate to say it but I think you miss Henson in the middle of the park, I'm not his biggest fan but he made a diffenence when playing for Wales and I haven't seen anybody to take over that role really.

I won't talk about the other two.

My prediction:

Ireland
France
Wales
England
Scotland
Italy

Saying that, Glasgow and Edinburgh are both flying in the magners league, I can't remember how well they did in the Autum but they could make some impact on the compition this year. If they find a replacment for Dan Parks first.
And Italy will be utterly useless this year with now Periesa (sp but you know who).

Ok I reckon Ireland, if they can somehow come up with an away win against France, will win the 6N . The biggest problem for Ireland is definately at tighthead. If John Hayes gets injured we have no decent replacement. Also Kidney better start Sexton over ROG.

England havent a chance with Johnson as manager, some of his selections are shocking like when he put Ugo Monye at fullback and kept him there even when he was playing shite. Sure he was a great captain but clearly that doesn't translate into a great manager.

Wales are the darkhorses. They were plagued with injuries for the Autumn internationals so you can't judge them by that. I certainly wouldn't rule them out of winning it.

Scotland and Italy will as usual be the last two. Italy are missing Parrisse arguably the best number 8 in the world so without him they are half the team so I would expect them to get the wooden spoon.

France will undoubtably be the biggest obstacle for Ireland and they have the most solid team. They'll dominate at scrum time and line out time and it wouldn't surprise me if they wiped the floor with us.

Also Leinster ftw.

Yeah, but Monye was playing better than Foden, the full time fullback
After Cueto took over the positon, play went far better, but now Armitage and Flutey are back there should be a lot more structure in England's backs, and the same with the injury depleted forwards, but i'd like to see Lawes replace Borthwick, Wilko can easily take over as captain again and do a far better job.

Still gonna have to go with Ireland for the win though

Ireland
France
England/ Wales
Scotland
Ireland

What happened to Clyde Rathbone? He was a beast of a player, but he hasn't done anything for a while..

What about Stirling Mortlock? Why isn't he captain of the Wallabies anymore? And who in the name of god put Rocky Elsom in as captain?

Brumbies for the premiership

...I wish. Although it could be done, we haven't won in a while and we have half the Wallabies squad

C'Mon Ireland. If we can win in France then I'm sure we'll win the 6N.
