They're really good. One of my friends at school showed me them a while ago and I thought they were the shit.

Awesome band, pretty sure there's a thread in the Indie forum. I've not seen them live but my friend has and told me homeboy plays everything on the one guitar using crazy tapping skills.

Yeah, I agree, but the instrumentals have that sound. I wouldn't calle em a rip off, but instrumentally, they kinda fall into that group. Not meant as an insult at all.

They're instrumentally similar, with the more complex riffs, but they aren't a straight-up Cap'n Jazz rip-off like Algernon Cadwallader.

Their tapping skills are f'ing amazing though. I love TTNG. And there is a thread for them in indie.

Whoops. My bad. I only searched this forum. Should I delete this thread, or does it fit here?

I think like a good portion of stuff can fit in Indie / Alternative forum that fits here... I just like this forum better.

Ehh, leave it here. I don't like the indie forum very much.

^ Yeah, stuff dies there way too much.

What do you guys like better, the S/T, or Animals? I dig Animals more because of the different corresponding mood switches, but both are great.

I like Animals a lot more, although there are some awesome songs on the S/T, like 'Wanna come to my room and listen to some belle and sebastian with me" or whatever

I ordered their official tab book a while ago

It's awesome

So far I've only learned Chinchilla, Crocodile, and the intro to Babboon (sp?), but it's a blast

If anyone uh
wants scans

cough
