It's really following Prehistoricisms sound except proggier, as in they have more catchy parts like the second riff in Elegy, a lot more clean singing Baroness style, some insane parts with just bass and drums, a ridiculous drum solo in one of the new songs. None of it is wanky prog though, the guitar never really gets technical for no reason for instance, the atmosphere is just the same, but their sound def changed a good bit. Oh yeah, and when they finished their set, Sasha Dunable flat out said "Who here in atlanta likes weed ? " *cheer* "Yeah we're from california and we smoke a lot of weed... but we're kinda dry. Is anyone willing to smoke us out after the show ? We'll be right over there next to the merch. Thanks. " I was also pretty high for their set, ate a magic brownie when I got inside the venue.

Haha yeah it was at the show for like 15 bucks, 12 bucks for the CD. I bought myself a t-shirt however.
Also, there's a song on the new album that has two drummers and two bassists, walker and rhythm guitarist on drums and joe lester and Justin Chancellor from Tool on bass. Ridiculous.

No, that one is called Elegy. This is a different song. Have you seen writing pt. 3 video for this album where they play 2 drumsets at the same time ? It's this song.

I've ALWAYS loved the band name font. That "O" is just amazing. I don't know who designed it, but it's fantastic.
Also, that is the single most trippy, complex, and mezmerizing shirt designs I've ever seen. It beats the shit out of my Intronaut shirt.  I ordered this one online about a year ago. They didn't have too many others in stock at the time, but I liked this one enough to get it.  It's called "Bird/Bee", and I just take it as a picture of "the birds and the bees". I still want their blue Vishnu shirts. Such an awesome design. I don't know why, it's just awesome.

They gave that same weed spiel in Carrboro the night before. Awesome ****ing performance, too. They were so much more enjoyable live than recorded, and they were 10 times heavier, as well. All in all, really glad I got to see them and definitely a band I'll be seeing again in the future.

Haven't heard it since yesterday. A great listen. It fills the gap between Void and Prehistoricisms quite nicely.
