I don't know if I'll have the willpower to wait until my album arrives to listen to it.

Honestly, I like the general length of Intronaut tracks (~6mins) like on Void. On Prehistoricisms, it felt like the album was really shortened simply because they chose to add The Reptilian Brian, a 16 minute of something that could have been interesting but wasn't, it felt like they could have added 1 or 2 more real tracks instead.

That was exactly how I felt about it. I got the same feeling from Christmas.

Null is a very enjoyable listen too, Fragments of Character and They (As In Them) are great tracks.

That everything. But yeah, one of the first things that stuck out for me was the bass. Holy crap.

I'm getting Null & Void now.

I'll probably end up listening to both all evening.

I hold a special place in my heart for Null.

It's so much more hardcore influenced, and it just has that 90s metalcore feel, but also has that post- feel. It's lurvely.

Void is still my favorite, but I feel Null is underrated.

have you heard The Challenger EP ? It feels like it should have came out between void and null (in terms of music style), but it came out right before prehistoricisms and it has very decent production (better than void).

edit : oh yeah, and it's really awesome. Pretty different songwriting then anything else they've ever done, especially on Whittler of Fortune.

I haven't. ¬_¬

I know that's blasphemous levels of bad, but when I first got into the band, I saw it was mostly live tracks, and I had no interest. Best Buy even had it for less than $10, and I never bought it.

I'm on it now, though. I refuse to not have it anymore.

My local Best Buy has a semi-decent assortment of stuff.

Yes, it's overloaded with the mainstream, because it's Best Buy, but I've found The Challenger, Panopticon, some Neurosis, and maybe a few others.

Last time I went in there they weren't stocked completely, but I've saw all of those before.
