one of the best bands to form in the past 10years, one of the best debut albums and a ****ing legendary new album which is easily a contender for album of the decade.

they really have evovled perfectly.. the whiny metalcoreish elements are now obsolete.

I didnt really notice any Metalcore stuff in Conclusion tbh. I think I still prefer Conclusion as an album - and still think that Jamie was a better vocalist, even though Josh as done a great job.

Really like the new album though, good to see they've developed abit.

Incredible, incredible band. My favourite album of the year so far.

Also, I did a cover of Sands of Time. Few mistakes here and there but here goes!

Amazing band. Saw them with dragonforce in '09, been listening ever since. Not one bad song, really.

Conclusion of an Age is a masterpiece. Sylosis is one of the best metal bands outside of the realm of the hyper-technical-progressive-shredin3434/264time scene.

I bought there album 'Conclusion of an Age' completely randomly at a music store. No regrets buying it at all. I also hate how people always say that they sound like Trivium. I think they are better than Trivium, but thats my opinion.

While I admit that it's a good album, that's a pretty big stretch of a statement you are making right there.

Sylosis, while being solid at what they are trying to portray, are still rather mediocre compared to many other bands in mainstream Metal.

That said, Teras is a cool song and the riffs will forever be etched into my skull so that I may play them whenever.

I haven't found many other mainstream metal bands that can compare. But hey, it all comes down to opinion.

And I'm the same way with Teras. There is some siiick riffage in that song. It's one of those songs that makes me wish I could sweep, cause I love that sweeping lead in it.

Oh and did anyone else notice the lick in that sounds very much like the very beginning of the solo in One?

I used to kind of like these guys. Not so interested anymore, but I remember they had some decent melodeath leads and riffage haha

Anyways, huge coincidence, I just remembered this not very well known tech death band called Maggot Stuffed **** that never really officially released anything... apparantly all the members are in Sylosis now hahaha

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlSf...&feature=relmfu

They are pretty much ridiculous brain drill esque wank

Am I the only one that listened to these guys for the first time and realised they were a Gothenburg Death Metal rip off?

They're coming out with a new one? I'm curious. I was never heavily into them, but the artwork for this one looks interesting, so maybe it'll be better than my expectations.

OH...MY..GOOOOD!!!

This album will top Edge of the Earth (and I thought EotE couldn't be topped because it's a masterpiece).

Can't wait to hear them live in December!

This album will forever reign supreme!

Eh, sounds like their other 2 albums. They're not bad or anything, they're just sort of boring and repetitive.

I'm never gonna get the hype of this band.

It sounds ALOT like the original wave of Metalcore (you know before it became a joke and was in reality bands from out side of Scandinavia playing Scandanavian melodic death) and not really a great example either. I mean I like it enough, it's alright.

But it's not that great. I'd still rather listen to Clayman (or even that AILD album that sounds like Clayman)

I love you for posting my feels.

I used to like Conclusion Of An Age, but it grew old and the riffs have started to sound same-y.
