You'd have thought, but Gael works in mysterious ways my main allegiance is with Richard Gasquet anyway

Hahaha, why would he drink cokes? I don't understand him, but I think he's awesome.

The second set of the Federer/Tomic match was excellent.

dat backhand

Anyway, about a 1:3 chance that Fed/Murray/Djokovic wins the whole shebang. I'm gonna say probably Murray just because now he has the confidence and he's beaten Djokovic in the finals before.

Ha, no problem. I always thought Stan Wawrinka looked more like a portly chef than a tennis player. But his one-handed backhand is amazing

Yep, it isn't as fluid and elegant as Gasquet's or Kohlschreiber's backhands but it's a great shot nonetheless.

Yeah, I wish Fed would've made it but I think Murray/Djokovic will be a better match.

As much as I'm enjoying the fact that Murray is doing so well at the moment - I'm getting a bit annoyed that the men's tournaments are basically a shoot-out between the same 3 (or 4 if Nadal gets back to fitness) people for the title.

Me too. Wawrinka winning against Djokovic would've been fantastic for the tournament imo, but then you worry that they're just going to get steamrollered in the next round (I mean, Djokovic properly annihilated Ferrer)

Gael Monfils needs to step up.

I would have loved to see Stan make a deep run, he came super-close as it was. Also want to see Gasquet go super-far, but he's a bit out of shape I think.

Oh and hopefully Dimitrov goes super-saiyan and heads to a final, if only so I can vicariously see Federer play.

EDIT: As you can see, I'm a big fan of one-handed backhands.

I don't even care that the Federer keeps getting pretty dominated by the more young and powerful dudes I still think he's da best and amazing to watch.

Those second tier players like Tsonga and Wawrinka all need to get their shit together though.

What happened to that Soderling dude who was pretty good there for a while?
