Well, like I've said in past posts, I'm a big fan of P-Bass like necks. Wide, thin neck. Jumbo frets. I'm going to Guitar Center...hopefully this weekend to test out an ATK to see if I like it. My "prog. metal" band decided it wants to be a Melodic Hardcore band, i.e. Stick To Your Guns, (New) Norma Jean. I'm not complaining, it's one of my favorite genres to play because you can REALLY hear the bass, so I'm pretty stoked. I found one on ebay but someone put in a bassline stringray replacement pick up in it, added another pick up switch and an eq and it just looks ridiculous, he killed a beautiful bass. I think I'm going to stick with the original pickups...MAYBE...maybe switch out the EQ. I doubt it.
