you don't get more preamp tube distortion by switching to el34s. you get a crunchier power tube crunch.

nobody tell mike that bruce stole his front plate and grill designer.

Egnater reminds me of 'ignitor' as in ignition fluid. gas. GAS.

Yeah same here. Feels nice. I want a few pedals but my MFX keeps the GAS under control for now.

great job iamwet. !

feel free to use my tweaker clips in the op etc. anytime. there is some mic clipping but not always.

i will make more with lollars, nailbombs or w/e to replace the old ones.

again, nice job.

Awesome new thread dude, the old one was getting a little tired out.

I don't see any posts on the the Rebel 20 yet, so I'll post a pic and some clips.



I've had the amp for about 7 months now, and its great. With a Tubescreamer in front it does metal very well.

I have 3 clips on my profile. Sorry, they're not straight tone clips, they're partial songs, but you can still hear how the amp sounds.

"Unfinished Progressive Song" has a good amount of distortion in it (No Tubescreamer, just amp distortion).

"Untitled Fusion Jazz Song" has mostly cleans, with a little light distortion.

"Guitar Wankery" is just me doing some soloy stuff...just a little delay, some wah, and some whammy pedal at the end...just to show how this amp can sound when you stack effects onto it!

I'll update this post with some straight clean clips soon, since I know the "cleans" on the Jazz song might be a little too dirty for some peoples' tastes.

Nice idea. I'm swapping the pickups in my Ibanez, and then I can do a guitar comparison through the Rebel 30 with the Ibby, a Strat, and a PRS. So reserved.
