Thank you. Started discovering BTBAM recently. Colors and Parallax II - soundtrack to december and this january. Alaska is next.

Cheers for listening to mine. I was enjoying the the first two dozen bars or so. Around 30 bars in I felt it was losing steam though. Sounded like a cross between Periphery and BTBAM to me. Keep going man.

Too much influence, not enough original writing. I dont think the drums parts were that bad, they fit at least. But it just sounds too much like Periphery.

Not at all, I hate that too.
When writing this sort of music the drums have to hold a groove to keep the music coherent. This is a mess.
I don't think it's great aside from the drums anyway, the whole thing is a bit of a mess. There's potential there though.

You're right, parts are divided a bit. It's just the first thing i GP'ed ever, due to temporary inability to record anything real. So it's difficult to compose without Cubase and feeling of real thing.
