Hey guys,
I'm a bit pissed off at the moment...
I just got 2,3,1 stars ratings on 3 of my tabs that r totally correct. one of the ratings I believe was personal cuz the rater has another version of my tab and she got a bad rating.
the only reason I publish tabs is for the fans who want to play, like I did many times when I just wanted to know the tabs without too much work. but my good intentions I guess are unappreciated to the point that I don't want to tab anymore. I don't need to tab for myself, I know the chords!

I only care about the bad ratings cuz lets admit most of us don't click on a tab if it's below 4 stars, so I'm putting my time and then some "user" gives me 1 star for no reason (well, maybe they can't play basic chords) and no one will use my tab after that! That sucks!

Is there a way to erase the bad rating somehow????
I know I can block the user but what's the point the damage is already done

What if someone honestly believed it deserved a bad rating? I don't know the quality of your tabs because even though I took a peek at them, I don't know any of those songs, and I generally don't look at chord charts anyways. But maybe someone did find errors?

If you can't take a little criticism now and then, UG is just not for you.

Found a mistake in one of them. The D you have listed is actually a D5 (xx023x). Could that be what caused a markdown? Probably not, but one never knows what goes through the mind a UGer.

1 star is not "little criticism", like I said the tabs are fine..I check it million times before I post them, and I make them while playing along to the actual song..if I can't make a good tab I don't post.
plus I didn't ask for anyone to go and rate 5 stars blindly..u r all welcomed to check the tabs before u rate and give it whatever u see fair or not rate at all..

and also after every bad rating (except u groove.thang lol) I sent a msg to the rater to ask what's wrong..so I can fix (the problems that don't exist) but surprise..no one answered..

whatever! rate..don't rate.. less tabs in this awesome site for you, I only tried to help..

I think u r right..it's not the perfect chord there..but it's some kind of D..and it sounds ok with it..it's better than no tab at all..

I'm not saying your tabs are bad. But if someone thinks they are, aren't they entitled to their opinion and their right to rate a tab accordingly? Besides, how important are ratings, anyways? I've got a few tabs with low ratings and it doesn't hurt me any, I know they're not perfect.

Don't quit just because there might be a couple people here who don't like the quality of your tabs. Most of your tabs are rated 4-5 stars anyways. I'd say you're doing better than a lot of us.

When you find your tab's been rated low, try contacting the user who's rated it and ask about it. If you don't get reply, don't attempt to fix it by yourself. You can make a thread here or pm me and explain the situation and we'll work it out.

The rating system is not a proper place for friendship. so avoid giving tabs the rating that they don't deserve.

I finally get one rating, by user kingkab55, and it's only a 3?? I've never gotten less than a 4 for any of my tabs, so out of curiosity I private messaged kingkab55 to get some feedback why he thought my tab was just mediocre, but he didn't reply to me.

I know, it isn't that big a deal. I can get over it. But it is demoralizing to spend 30, 40, 50 hours shooting for perfection, only to having someone take a few seconds to carelessly label the work mediocre.
