Symphonic Blackened Death Metal - (GP5, 4, MIDI)

Me and my band are working on our new batch of songs. This is the second finished one and on this track we were looking to include elements from black metal and power metal but also wanna have tons of modern death metal influence. Either way lemme know what you guys think and thanks in advance!

Working title is No Clemency for the Heathen, we have not yet recorded it but we will soon.

BTW i am currently looking for a vocalist to sing/scream over this track and some others for an online project (one of the songs is in my signature). If you are interested please let me know and I will give you more information on the project.

...Well, there was nothing Black Metal about that in the least, I'll say that much...

That said? Not bad I guess. Somewhat boring and predictable though, structure wise, and didn't always flow the best. Some riffs were cool though.

Hm, true. Suppose i should have said the song was influenced mostly by Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Carach Angren, bands whom I'm sure Black Metal purists would not consider real Black Metal.

Regardless, thanks for the honest crit.

Carach Angren is. Sorta. OLD dimmu is [even if it's nothing terribly special].

But yeah. It sounded a lot like new Behemoth. Who I don't so much like. And it felt to me like the song wanted to pick up in intensity and stuff, but never did. Never really... went anywhere.
