ok to answer a few questions:
the g major has a jack that you send a cable from and plug it into your footswitch jack on your amp. the g major wouldnt be able to switch a midi controlled amp. the channel switching relays are analog. they just flip a switch pretty much haha. it has 2 relays that can both be open or closed. one of the relays controls whether my amp is on clean or crunch/ultra, and the other switches between crunch and ultra. ill try to take some more pictures of the ltd soon and get another video up. maybe ill pull out the classical guitar haha. the pedals are going in to the front of the amp. i dont use the tubescreamer anymore, but the isp is plugged in to the front and always stays on. and to the guy wanting to play jazz, the xxx isnt the "greatest" amp for jazz by any means, but it can hold it's own in pretty much any genre. if i make another video tomorrow ill try to include some jazzier stuff and some different clean tones. any other requests for the video are welcome. maybe ill go learn a few deftones riffs for whoever suggested that hahaha

Agreed. It's a very versatile amp IMO. The switching on the Gmajor is cool too. Which cable did you buy to go from the Gmajor to the XXX? I got mine from FJA. Quote:
The XXX can sound that way too if you swap EL34s in it ![]()

Awesome stuff! Wanted a GMajor for a while, until I opted for a pedalboard.

I have the G major 2 and FCB1010 combination as well, and it effin' rocks. There are SO many options and variables, I haven't even begun to scratch the surface yet. You should look into the UNO mod for the FCB1010. All you have to do is replace a $10 EPROM chip and you can have stompbox mode. I love being able to have a single preset for a song, and just switch the individual effects on and off as needed.

im not buying an amp for jazz really, was just point out that it has cleaner cleans than a 5150 will. probably gonna wait till christmas, then sell my current amp and buy a XXX as well as a cab since by then i'll be able to afford one

i think youll enjoy the xxx then. it can get a close 5150 tone, just missing a little of that aggressive lower mid tone.
also for the person asking about the cable, i spliced together a stereo cable and a cable that fit the xxx haha

^ +1 Justin.
The 3120 is a cool amp if you like the aesthetics. Otherwise, it is a lot cheaper (and cooler looking) to just get an XXX, make the resistor change and run it with EL34s. I noticed at GC they were on clearance for $750. I'd still rather have a Renegade ![]()
