MFR: July 28th - Summer Of... Sixty Something

whoops just realized it's my day, I'm a chump. So I had made this playlist the day jon posted his and I said I could do one, afterwards i thought about it and thought I had been lazy and meant to go back and switch some things up but I totally forgot so here is the original lazy mix! I only say so because I took the easy way out in terms of thinking of songs as will be very apparent to anyone who pays attention. otherwise, I think these are some cool songs and I think most you will dig it since I think we're all open to things other than just metal

http://8tracks.com/romencer17/summer-jamzes

and just incase no one saw my original disclaimer in Jon's thread, the closest this gets to metal is Blue Cheer.

coming soon:
4/8/2014 - Kytokinesis
11/8/2014 - AnnihiSSlateR

If this is a three hour psychedelic jam fest I am going to be very upset

Pleasant mix. I think Acid Mothers Temple and The Doors are the only ones I've heard before. Everything else was new to me. Enjoyed it a lot.

if you would like to be upset I can post something like that just for you

glad you liked it, Kyto. If you haven't heard Blue Cheer before I really recommend checking em out, some really awesome proto-metal stuff. Probably some of the heaviest stuff anyone was playing in the late 60's.

Ahh, reminds me of 5 years ago when I would download and listen to everything from progarchives essentials lists of every subgenre. Great stuff
